This bollard has been produced by one of the leading bollard manufacturers (Marshall Rhino), this ensures high quality, maximum security and prolonged product life expectancy. This bollard comes with many features, some of which come as standard with the bollard and others that are optional. Some of these features consist of:
The standard bollard is sealed at the top and therefore the security of the bollard is completely down to the manufacturer whereas the seperate cap option means that you can take matters into your own hands by filling up the bollard and then sealing it up afterwards, some things you could fill it up with could be gravel, sand and cement.
The standard model comes with a standard root fixing meaning that about 50cm of the bollard is buried underground giving the bollard increased stability and strength. However in some situations it is not a viable option to dig up the ground for a root fixing, therefore we offer a base plate fixing option which means that the bollard can just be screwed into the ground, this still provides good security and strength without the hassle of excavating the ground below.
This bollard comes in two specifications, the standard and the anti ram specification. The standard specification are exceptionally strong and durable and on impact will not snap or fracture however the anti ram specification offers increased internal strength due to a rolled steel joist being added, this ia an ideal solution to deter and prevent ram raids to penetrate past the bollards.
The bollard comes galvanized as standard however there is the option of powdercoating it with an option of RAL colours, this reduces the risk of scratching, chipping and corrosion.
This bollard comes with the option to add reflective banding to increase visibility and to reduces the chances of accidental collision. The reflective banding is class 2 quality and is available in red, white or amber. Additional colours are available on request.
Chain eyes in the bollard mean that multiple bollards can be connected and therefore reduces the chances even more of penetration past the bollards by both pedestrians and vehicles.
