This bollard is manufactured by Marshall Rhino Bollards, one of the leading producers of bollards. This means that you are guaranteed quality, strengths and durability. The bollard has many different features, some optional and others which come as standard. Some of these features are:
The RB 111 come as standard with a sealed top however there is an option on offer where you the cap comes seperate meaning that you can fill the unused space with a substance that will increase the strength of the bollard such as concrete, sand or gravel and then seal the bollard up afterwards.
This bollard comes with a root fixing of 50 cm as standard which means that the bollards are strong and will not crack or fracture on impact. However it is not always suitable to dig up the ground to fit a bollard and therefore we offer an optional base plate fixing which means that the the bollard can be screwed into the ground ensuring that it is still exceptionally strong without the having to excavate the ground beneath it.
The standard specification for this bollard is very strong and does not break, crack or fracture on impact however if you would prefer even more strength and security we offer the ram raid specification which has a rolled steel joist added to the bollard this means that the bollards are strong enough to withstand a ram raid and are designed so that vehicles can not penetrate past them.
The bollards have a galvanized finish which come as standard but there is the option of powder coating, this reduces the chances of scratching, chipping an corrosion, it also means that you can chose a colour for it but they have to be RAL colours.
This bollard comes with the option of having reflective banding, these are useful as it increases visibility and reduces the chance of accidental collision. There is the choice of one or two grade two reflective bands or hazard banding. The reflective bands are available in red, white and amber.
These bollards come with the option of having one or two chain eyes which means that the bollards can be connected and can reduce the chances of both pedestrian and vehicular penetration past the bollards.
